When you apply to join The Rusty Network via our Google Form application, we collect information you provide, such as your Discord Username, Age, Timezone, and gaming history. This data is collected strictly for the purpose of vetting and approving new community members.
Your application data is submitted directly through Google Forms. It is stored securely on our administrative Google Drive. We do not sell, rent, or share your application data with any third parties outside of our administration team.
Application data is retained for as long as you are an active member of the community. If your application is denied, or you leave the community, your application data may be retained for up to 1 year for record-keeping and ban-evasion prevention purposes before being permanently deleted.
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion (the right to be forgotten). To exercise these rights, please contact an administrator via our Discord server.
In compliance with the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, if you have a complaint regarding how we handle your application data, you may submit a formal data complaint by contacting our administration team via Discord or emailing privacy@rustynetwork.example.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days.
